A HYBRID CENSORING SCHEME IS MIXTURE OF TYPE-I AND TYPE-II CENSORING SCHEMES. IN THIS PAPER, WE CONSIDER THE ESTIMATION OF THE stress-STRENGTH PARAMETER R=P (Y<X) WHEN X AND Y ARE TWO INDEPENDENT Exponential RANDOM VARIABLES, WITH DIFFERENT PARAMETERS. THE MAXIMUM LIKELIHOOD ESTIMATOR OF R IS OBTAINED. BASED ON THE ASYMPTOTIC DISTRIBUTION OF THE MAXIMUM LIKELIHOOD ESTIMATOR, THE CONFIDENCE INTERVAL OF R CAN BE OBTAINED. BAYES ESTIMATOR OF R IS ALSO OBTAINED UNDER THE ASSUMPTION OF INDEPENDENT GAMMA PRIORS. A MONTE CARLO SIMULATION STUDY IS CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO COMPARE THE PROPOSED ESTIMATORS. FINALLY, ANALYSIS OF A REAL DATA SET IS ALSO PRESENTED FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES.

The effect of Exponential stress resultant on buckling response of functionally graded rectangular plates based on Exponential shear deformation theory is investigated in this paper. In Exponential shear deformation theory, Exponential functions are used in terms of thickness coordinate to include the effect of the transverse shear deformation and rotary inertia. The material properties of the functionally graded plate are assumed to vary according to a power low form according to the thickness direction. The equations of motions are derived based on Hamiltons principle. To validate the formulations, present results in specific cases are compared with available results in literature and good agreement could be seen. Finally, the influence of different parameters like power law indexes, aspect ratio, and the thickness ratio on the non-dimensional critical buckling load of rectangular FG plates are presented and discussed in detail.

In this paper, two-stage and purely sequential estimation procedures are considered to construct fixed-width confidence intervals for the reliability parameter under the stress-strength model when the stress and strength are independent Exponential random variables with di erent scale parameters. The exact distribution of the stopping rule under the purely sequential procedure is approximated using the law of large numbers and Monte Carlo integration. For the two-stage sequential procedure, explicit formulas for the distribution of the total sample size, the expected value and mean squared error of the maximum likelihood estimator of the reliability parameter under the stress-strength model are provided. Moreover, it is shown that both proposed sequential procedures are finite, and in exceptional cases, the exact distribution of stopping times is degenerate distribution at the initial sample size. The performances of the proposed methodologies are investigated with the help of simulations. Finally using real data, the procedures are clearly illustrated.

در این مقاله، قابلیت اعتماد تنش-مقاومت یک سیستم منسجم در حالت تنش در سطح مولفه در نظر گرفته شده است. سیستم های منسجم سری، موازی و رادار مورد بررسی قرار می گیرند. برای سیستم های $ 2 $-مولفه ای سری یا موازی و سیستم رادار، این قابلیت اعتماد بر اساس توزیع نمایی و به روش های ماکسیمم درستنمایی، نااریب بطور یکنواخت با کمترین واریانس و بیز، برآورد می شود. همچنین برای بررسی عملکرد برآوردگرها مطالعات شبیه سازی انجام شده اند و داده های واقعی تحلیل می شوند.

Dear Editor, Nowadays, neural stem cells (NSCs) are known as an interesting study topic. These ectodermal progenitor cells are generated in the developing central nervous system (CNS) during the fetal period (1). The potential of NSCs to differentiate into neurons (neurogenesis), and glial cells (gliogenesis) will continue for the entire life in the specific areas of brain cortex (2). This potential can be damaged by maternal and environmental stress. Noise stress as an environmental stressor can cause adverse effects in the CNS (3).

In this research, the Exponential stretched based hyperelastic strain energy was modified to provide the unstressed initial configuration. To this end, as the first step, the model was calibrated by the experimental data to find the best material parameters. The fitting results indicated material stability in large deformations and basic loading modes. In the second step, the initial pseudo stress value (ISV) was eliminated from the hyperelastic strain energy using a function of the determinant of the deformation gradient. The modified and unmodified models were implemented in ABAQUS/VUMAT user subroutine and the deformation behavior of the natural rubber and the thermoplastic elastomer was predicted. The results obtained from the modified model represented a better agreement with the experimental data, in comparison to those gained by the unmodified model. In order to present the significance of the unstressed initial configuration in engineering applications, the stenting phenomenon in the atherosclerosis human artery was investigated. It was revealed that a uniform stress distribution could be achieved in the artery using the modified model, thereby reducing the possibility of tearing and restenosis.
